Hope this 'grabbed your attention'. Too many times I hear people make a comment that they can't afford to have their animal spayed/neutered. Usually, it's not a case of them not being able to afford the expense - it's a matter of them not wanting to 'part ways' with the money. Costs vary widely in different areas of the country, but for our rough example, let's say that the cost is $100.00 The person is going to have the animal for 10 years (and hopefully longer!). That works out to 120 mohths, which works out to less than one dollar per month to help with the overpopulation problem. The next time you hear someone say they can't afford it, explain to them what the true costs are....maybe they'll realize what a great value it really is !
